They deserve their right to vote

There are more than 4.4 million Americans who’ve completed their sentences and are denied their right to vote. These are people who are no longer incarcerated — they have paid their debt to society. Yet they are still being vindictively denied one of their basic rights as an American: the right to choose their elected officials.

It is appalling such racially-targeted, archaic laws are still in existence today. This is just wrong, and in the coming weeks, we’re making that point loud and clear.
